The Winter Olympics are over, and another East China steel plant resumes production

On February 20, the Beijing Winter Olympics came to an end at the National Stadium "Bird's Nest". At the same time, the production of the northern stainless steel enterprises that had been limited by the environmental protection of the Winter Olympics in the early stage was gradually on the right track.

According to our research and understanding, the steelmaking production line of East China T Steel Plant was suspended in January and resumed production yesterday (February 20). The hot-rolled and cold-rolled production lines will also resume production in recent days.

The normal monthly output of the steel plant is 60,000-80,000 tons, all of which are 400 series, but in the early stage, it has been intermittently reduced and stopped due to environmental inspections and other factors, and the monthly output has remained low. The 50-day shutdown is expected to affect the output of the 400 series at around 100,000 tons.
